Respect Things | Respect Part 4

When I was growing up, I liked to play basketball at the park with my friends. Unfortunately, people were always tearing down the basketball rims. After a while, the city stopped replacing the basketball rims, so we couldn't play basketball anymore. The people who were tearing down the basketball rims were not showing respect.

We should respect property and things whether they belong to us or not. Respecting things means that we treat them like they really matter and that they are important. Even if some things don’t matter to you personally, you should still treat them with respect because they matter to someone.

Respect is honoring people, rules, and things. When people don't respect things, there are consequences for everyone.

Say it with me, “I choose respect.”

When you make better choices you will live a better life, so choose well. Oh yeah!
