Fill Your Bucket | Mindful Parenting That Replenishes Your Empty Bucket

Parents, do you have holes in your bucket? Are you feeling burned out or stressed? When I speak to people about this topic, I tell them to think about this: “If my output exceeds my input, my upkeep will be my downfall.” If you give and give without refilling yourself, pretty soon you won’t be able to give any more. As a parent, it’s important to make time for yourself and refill your bucket. Do something that replenishes you. It’s hard to make parenting progress with a leaky bucket.

When you make better choices you will live a better life, so choose well. Oh yeah!
