Happy New Year, Metteer Teachers!

Happy New Year, teachers! 

I’m looking forward to starting the year with you.

My personal theme for the year 2021 is, “Look back, but focus forward.” I want to encourage you to do the same. 

Lake Superior State University recently banned some words for 2021. No, it is not a serious ban, but it is funny. There are probably some words that you would like to ban if you could. I know, right?

Though there may be things about 2020 we would like to ban, we can’t go back and change anything. What we can do is look back and learn from 2020. Then we can focus forward on what we can do moving into 2021. 

One thing that I am focusing forward on, are these motivational videos for you and the students and families you work with. Never underestimate the power of a moment. I believe that my connection with you and your students can help you and help kids make better choices in life.
