Helpfulness: Kindness In Action

Helpfulness is the quality of giving or being ready to give help. I like to say that helpfulness is kindness in action.

Watch the video and have a discussion with your class or someone you know. Below, there are some suggested questions or writing prompts.

I think kindness and helpfulness are very similar.

Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.

Helpfulness is the quality of giving or being ready to give help. 

I like to squish those two definitions together to say that: Helpfulness is kindness in action.

You demonstrate the qualities of kindness whenever you are being helpful.
